Saison 2023/2024 BSL / D1 autrichienne. Michael Weathers né le 5 aout 1997 à Roeland Park (Kansas), 1.90m 80kgs poste 2/1 US à la recherche d'un club pour l'an prochain.

MVP en titre de la D1 autrichienne : 24 d'éval en 33 minutes pour sa réelle première expérience en Europe (hormis 14 matchs de bonne facture en D1 monténégrine l'an passé).

Ce joueur de 26 ans a passé six ans à l'université où il a été transféré à plusieurs reprises, portant les couleurs de SMU, Miami (OH), Texas Southern et Oklahoma State.
Malgré ses difficultés à trouver la bonne fac, il s'est taillé une solide carrière universitaire avec une moyenne de 13,8 points, 4,7 rebonds, 3,3 passes décisives et 1,7 interceptions.
Freshman of the year en 2017, vainqueur saison régulière de sa conférence en 2021 + membre du meilleur 5.
Champion saison régulière Monténégro l'an passé.
En sortie de fac, intéressant un temps les Oklahoma City Blue / G-League, il bascule finalement au Monténégro l'an passé.

Joueur complet apportant scoring, passes, rebonds interceptions et contres il a eu l’opportunité d’avoir un impact majeur en Autriche cette année, au point d'en devenir le meilleur joueur. Mais rien ne pouvait pour autant présager qu'il allait obtenir un tel succès.

Bon dribbleur, rapide en transition, bon joueur de un contre un efficace en isolation, il cible bien pour agresser les intervalles et trouver la faille défensive.
Agressif en pénétration, slasheur incisif opportuniste, bon joueur de PnR.
Gros dunkeur, y compris sur alley hoops malgré taille lambda.
Bon flotteur, garde bien son équilibre en l'air lorsqu'il va percuter dessous.
Assez athlétique pour aller provoquer les gros dessous et les sanctionner (6.2 FT tentés par match cette année).

Jaillit bien pour piquer des ballons en défenses et fuser en contre-attaques.
N'oublie pas de servir ses coéquipiers avec 4.3 AS de moyenne et participe activement aux rebonds.

Go to guy fiable à 2pts, correct à 3pts, correct aux FT.
Peut se créer son shoot, beau jump shoot, efficace sur catch and shoot.
Capable de scorer à distance NBA, il en a tenté 4 en moyenne cette saison, avec une réussite très correcte de 36%

Son titre de MVP le fait passer ce joueur complet dans une autre dimension.
Il peut lui permettre de prétendre à monter de niveau l'an prochain.
Et pourquoi pas même au sein du quota d'étrangers d'un Pro.A.
Il n'en ferait pas baisser le niveau.

Reigning MVP of the Austrian D1: 24 in 33 minutes for his first real experience in Europe (apart from 14 good games in the Montenegrin D1 last year).

The 26-year-old spent six years at the university where he was transferred several times, wearing the colors of SMU, Miami (OH), Texas Southern and Oklahoma State.
Despite his struggles to find the right college, he had a solid college career averaging 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals.
Freshman of the year in 2017, regular season winner of his conference in 2021 + member of the best 5.
Regular season champion Montenegro last year.
After college, he was of interest to the Oklahoma City Blue / G-League for a while, but finally switched to Montenegro last year.

A complete player bringing scoring, assists, rebounds, steals and blocks, he had the opportunity to make a major impact in Austria this year, to the point of becoming the best player. But nothing could have predicted that he would achieve such success this year.

A good dribbler, quick in transition, a good one-on-one player effective in isolation, he targets well to attack the gaps and find the defensive flaw.
Aggressive in penetration, incisive slasher, opportunistic, good PnR player.
Big dunker, including on alley hoops despite average size.
Good float, keeps his balance in the air when he hits underneath.
Athletic enough to go and provoke the big ones and punish them (6.2 FT attempted per game this year).

Bursts well to steal balls in defence and run on the counter-attack.
Don't forget to serve his teammates with an average of 4.3 AS and actively participate in the rebounds.

Go to guy reliable at 2pts, correct at 3pts, correct at FT.
Can create your shot, beautiful jump shoot, effective on catch and shoot.
Capable of scoring from distance in the NBA, he has attempted 4 on average this season, with a very decent success rate of 36%

His MVP title takes this complete player to another dimension.
It can allow him to claim to move up next year.
And why not even within the quota of foreigners of a Pro.A.
He would not lower the level.
